Australia Post has one of the largest networks of outlets in Australia:
- There are over 3800 outlets providing a range of Postbillpay services. More than 2,520 outlets are in rural and remote areas.
- Postbillpay outlets can process cash and cheque payments, plus EFTPOS transactions for credit and debit cards. Visa, MasterCard, Diners and American Express are also accepted.
- The biller is charged merchant service fee.

Postbillpay by phone
Postbillpay uses an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system that provides both customers and billers with a range of flexible options:
- Service is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
- Customers can speak to a Postbillpay agent during the call if required.
- Payments can be made via credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Diners and AMEX )
- Customers can pay multiple bills with one phone call, and use funds different financial institutions to pay these bills.
- Payment ID numbers are issued for each phone payment.
- Customers can pay their bills for the cost of a local call. Calls from mobile and public phones are charged at higher rates.
